Production Technician (1st Shift) - MI

About the role

Cannabis Production Technicians are directly involved in manufacturing our products from initial stages to final sale-ready units distributed to dispensaries. This role works in a high-volume manual production assembly line to achieve individual and team performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate flower and oil
• Weigh, stuff, and roll products
• Label, sticker, and package finished goods
• Hit specific cycle times in each position
• Maintain high standards of health and hygiene as required by OSHA
• Follow instructions and be receptive to feedback/coaching from management to maintain product quality

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing position
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing consumable goods is preferred
• Working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Ability to work well with others and independently
• Ability to learn and adapt to various strains, styles, and types of cannabis
• Ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and other manufacturing conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
• Capable of sitting or standing for long periods or entire shifts
• Capable of repetitive motion using hands and arms
• Frequent use of both hands and fingers to perform fine motor tasks, including handling product, assembling packaging, and applying compliance labels
• Must be able to perform these essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Schedule

• Full-time, non-exempt position
• 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
• Scheduled start/end times, assigned shifts, and workdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements
• Advance notice of schedule changes will be provided whenever feasible
