About the role

As a Production Technician, you’ll play a critical role in our mission to deliver top-quality hemp products. You will work alongside experienced scientists and production leads in a rapidly growing business, contributing to the stability and success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate: Work with a team to achieve production goals and maintain smooth process flow.
• Operate Machinery: Effectively operate packaging machinery and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the workplace organized and clean, including equipment and machinery.
• Monitor Materials: Ensure materials are prepared to support a stable production environment.
• Auxiliary Production: Support daily batch preparation and production activities.
• Overtime Opportunities: Availability for overtime pay/hours with weekend work as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years in a production environment; familiarity with production and packaging equipment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Adaptability: Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Team Player: Positive energy and reliability for team cohesion.

Skills

• Preferred Knowledge: HS diploma and experience with MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word).

Special Considerations

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable with repetitive arm motions.
• Able to regularly lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
