About the role

Universal Pure is dedicated to providing safe, fresh, and delicious food and drink through high‑pressure processing (HPP), value‑added services, and cold storage for partners in the food industry. The Production Team Member follows direction from the line lead and shift supervisor, rotating down the line throughout the shift in a manufacturing, production, and warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Packing and unpacking the product
  • Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine
  • Stacking and building pallets
  • Labeling and code‑dating product
  • Sanitation duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience
  • MHE/Forklift experience
  • Ability to perform basic mental math
  • Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
  • Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively with others and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
  • Ability to lift 10–35 lb repeatedly and up to 45 lb occasionally
  • Ability to push/pull up to 250 lb on rollers occasionally
  • Ability to stand for 10–12‑hour shifts

Working Conditions

The role operates in a refrigerated, cold/wet environment (approximately 34 °F) within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production facility. Employees must withstand cold temperatures for 10–12 hours a day. The position is largely static, requiring standing, repetitive bending, and occasional lifting. Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, or store products containing allergenic food ingredients; team members may come in direct contact with these ingredients.

Schedule

Four‑day, 10‑hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.
