Production Team Member (Composite Technician) 1st and 2nd Shift

About the role

SEKISUI Aerospace is currently hiring production team members in a variety of departments for our Orange City, IA location, including layup, assembly, machining, and finishing. We offer health benefits, 401k, PTO, tuition reimbursement, job growth, and continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assembles components by laying composites and materials such as pre-impregnated carbon fiber and fiberglass cloth onto molds & processes parts through molding operations.
• Performs advance composite operations to include trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding operations.
• Inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools and other test procedures may be required. Record keeping of inspection results where required.
• Responsible for work orders and time calculations to ensure the quality of the product while providing suggestions for improvement.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent hand dexterity and coordination.
• Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
