Responsibilities
- Must follow all procedures and documentation requirements as dictated
- Has mechanical aptitude and is able to use hand tools
- Expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all 5S and PPE requirements
- Visually monitors housekeeping and plant organization
- Maintains compliance with Motus Integrated Management System
- Maintains and ensures compliance with Customer Specifications
- Monitors safety & environmental concerns on the shop floor
- Monitors and addresses quality issues toward the goal of zero defects
- Trained to operate and make adjustments to the operation process
- Trained to inspect the parts and perform process trouble shooting
- Utilizes the escalation process when necessary
- Performs daily first piece and process inspections
- Performs other duties as assigned and assists supervisor or management as directed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous working experience in an automotive manufacturing production facility preferred
- Standing for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
- Occasionally lifts a maximum of 30 lbs.
- Passes a pre-employment drug screen and background check
