Production Team Member - American Recycling Center

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and procedures, including guidelines and instructions set by the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain adequate production rate for the assigned process/area (bagging, buffings, grind), ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform ongoing general housekeeping of the work area.
• Operate and maintain a general working knowledge of processing and production equipment (buffings, bagging, grind).
• Sort raw material for contaminants and sizing, which may require physically moving material.
• Demonstrate general knowledge of raw material, including proper identification and use.
• Engage in consistent physical activity, including standing for extended periods, lifting/carrying up to 55 pounds, bending, squatting, or other physical requirements.
• Identify and recognize finished product sizing.
• Operate a forklift and other applicable equipment and machinery according to safety and training guidelines, if required.
• Engage in clear, consistent, and professional communication between the Production Supervisor and other Production Team Members.
• Responsible for unloading/loading raw materials and other products, which may include physical lifting or other means.
• Work cohesively as a team to achieve maximum production output.
• Perform proper sealing, stacking, wrapping, and labeling during production and bagging processes.
• Look for ways to minimize waste.
• Maintain general knowledge of equipment setup, emergency shut-off procedures, lock-out/tag-out, and other safety-related items.
• Remain conscious of quality improvements and report any concerns to the Supervisor as they arise.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Clear criminal background check.

Pay

$15.00/hour.
