The Production Team Member is a learner position that assists the Manufacturing team in producing leading commercial foodservice equipment. This role performs multiple functions in the plant, including TIG and arc welding, metal fabrication, refrigeration, electrical wiring, and various assembly tasks. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and arc welding
- Metal fabrication
- Refrigeration tasks
- Electrical wiring
- Various assembly tasks
- Read and comprehend prints, work instructions, and other documents
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be age 18 or older
- Ability to lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds
- Extensive standing and walking required
- Ability to work either day or night shift
- Overtime is required as needed (working 50-60 hours per week is very common)
- Authorized to work and reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
Qualifications
- EPA Refrigeration certification (preferred)
- Completion of a TIG welding training course or 2 months’ employment performing TIG welding (preferred)
- Electrical training and/or experience (preferred)
- Mechanical ability (preferred but not required)
