Production Team Member (1st Shift - 6am to 2:30pm)

About the role

The Production Team Member will follow the direction given by the line lead and shift supervisor. This position will rotate down the line throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Packing and unpacking the product
• Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product
• Sanitation duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
• MHE/Forklift experience
• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
• Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a cold/wet environment
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to 45 lbs occasionally
• Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts

Working Conditions

• Operates in a cold/wet refrigerated environment (around 34 degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility
• Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 10-12 hours a day
• Largely a static role with standing, however, repetitive bending and standing up is also required
• Facilities may process, pack, and store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA; team members who may come in direct contact must be able to work with these ingredients

Upon offer of employment, candidates will be asked to complete a drug screening test. The offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of this test.
