Responsibilities

• Coordinates, facilitates, and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing associates.
• Sets up the production line to the specifications of the customer’s order and works closely with various departments to ensure parts are manufactured according to those specifications.
• Ensures the appropriate parts and quantities are run according to the production schedule.
• Communicates any safety, quality, and/or production‑related issues with the supervisor or appropriate management representative.
• Coordinates housekeeping activities of the area.
• Provides necessary training to new associates and documents the training.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in the shift.
• Works with the supervisor and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
• Proficiency with Excel/ERP (hand scanner is a plus).
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• GP a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous lead experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to speak English and/or Spanish proficiently.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend, and/or squat for 10 + hours per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 lb at a time.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
