Hourly pay range: $27.90 - $29.60 per hour, based on skills, experience, and market considerations.
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 1st shift. Overtime may be required and can exceed these hours.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of hourly personnel in a specific work cell/area to meet customer requirements, produce quality products safely and on time, and follow standard work for the value stream
- Complete timely and accurate control board updates
- Coordinate and provide training to new employees
- Align resources, people, and work; lead team start-up meetings and conduct floor-check production start-ups
- Oversee shift-change coordination, including leading tier-one meetings and conducting standard walks with supervisors/managers to ensure standardized work
- Ensure smooth workflow transition between shifts with effective communication
- Keep supervisors/managers informed of production issues; review prior shift’s production-tracking documents and take required actions on misses or other issues
- Create preventive actions to meet safety and environmental goals; ensure 6S events are conducted regularly
- Lead change and improvements; inform management of continuous improvement ideas
- Operate an overhead/jib crane up to 25+ tons as needed
- Assist in production when necessary; ensure operators are trained in powered industrial vehicle and/or crane/hoist operations
- Participate in lean production projects to support continuous improvement
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit offered; candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt from geographical limitation)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one year of transformer assembly experience
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Minimum of one year of leadership experience in a lean manufacturing environment
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge preferred
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule
- Ability to operate an overhead crane up to 25+ tons
- Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to influence others to achieve goals
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and perform other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
