Production Team Coordinator - Weekend Shift

About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organized Production Team Coordinator to help keep our manufacturing floor running efficiently. In this role, you’ll be a key connection point for the team, coordinating daily activities, supporting operators, and ensuring smooth, consistent workflow throughout the shift. This role will be based out of our Bordentown, NJ facility.
The position includes hands-on training on the first shift Monday to Friday from 7AM to 3:30PM before moving into a Weekend shift Friday to Sunday from 5:00AM to 5:00PM.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with team members to ensure production orders are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide operational support, helping with logistics and ensuring the team is equipped to complete their tasks.
- Facilitate communication between team members and ensure everyone is aligned on tasks and schedules.
- Monitor adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and loss elimination.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Manage resources (e.g., materials, equipment) effectively, demonstrating cost consciousness.
- Track the day-to-day progress of tasks and ensure work is completed on time and within expectations.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
- Contribute to achieving team objectives.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Ensure resources (materials, tools, etc.) are available to the team.
- Lead planning and execution of the 24-hour Communication Cycle (Shift Handovers, DOM, CIL, PM, Changeovers, CL’s, and coverage).
- Anticipate future crew needs and plan accordingly (trials, changeovers, coverage, training, EO work, etc.).
- Lead onboarding and facilitate continuous learning & coaching for new and existing team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Technical School Degree, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a team coordination or administrative role with a solid understanding of operational workflows, task prioritization, and resource management.
- Relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic literacy and math skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, documentation, etc.).
- Strong basic problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
- Experience in a supervisory role with proven success in leading and motivating teams is preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
- Safety awareness.
- Bilingual is a plus.

Pay
Starting pay $25 to $29 per hour + quarterly bonus + full benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Hands-on training on the first shift Monday to Friday from 7AM to 3:30PM before moving into a Weekend shift Friday to Sunday from 5:00AM to 5:00PM.
