Production Support Technician - ECC

About the role

The Production Support Technician (ECC) role involves providing support to the production group by setting up, troubleshooting, breakdown, repairing/maintaining preheat and temporary utility equipment, and monitoring heat.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, breakdown, repair/maintain preheat and temporary utility equipment
• Maintain records of heat readings in a log book
• Support trades by establishing critical needs for welders and other trades
• Monitor heat and record readings in a log book
• Provide mechanical support to trades as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or 2 years related technical experience
• 1+ year of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance
• Available to work all shifts
• Basic mechanical knowledge for supporting mechanical repairs
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related technical experience
• 1+ year of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance
• Must be available to work all shifts
• Basic mechanical knowledge to support mechanical repairs
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperature conditions
