Production Support Clerk

Major Areas Of Responsibility

• Production Line Activities - 60%
• Perform assigned production duties in an accurate and timely manner based on work instructions.
• Duties include: Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly and testing of remanufactured products.
• Prepare tools, equipment, and workstation.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation.
• Continuously review and improve quality and production procedures and processes for productivity and efficiency.
• Product Quality - 20%
• Properly use and maintain micrometers, gauges, and other testing equipment to check for product conformity.
• Inventor Quality - 20%
• Maintain accountability of inventory in assigned workstation.
• Properly issue parts as necessary in the remanufacturing process.

Education Qualifications and Other Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Relevant work experience to include any combination of: Work experience in a warehouse environment, Direct production line work experience, Inventory control experience.
• Preferred but not required: Mechanical background or manufacturing experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must adhere to established policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate hand tools.
• Basic understanding of computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn and effectively utilize other software applications used within the Company.
• Well-balanced interpersonal skills; Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, customers, and outside vendors.
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.

Working Conditions And Physical Requirements

• This positions may be exposed to hazardous materials - Daily
• This role works with mechanical parts and on machinery
• May be required to lift up to 35 pounds

Pay Range

Pay Range: $20.77 - $28.56
Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
