Production Supervisor - RTE

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise production activities including coordinating activities of workers engaged in processing and/or the development of a product or a service.
• Provides production reports to assist process improvement.
• Cook and counsel associates while coordinating and enforcing process controls, policies and procedures.
• Trains new workers in operation of equipment.

Requirements

• Middle School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• One (1) year production experience or a combination of leadership and production experience.
• One (1) year leadership experience, or relevant Sigma experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years production experience.
• Two (2) years leadership experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to become forklift/pallet jack certified.
• Understand Quality Standards, SSOP's, applicable Pre-requisite programs, and HACCP.
• Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and Excel.
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment.

Environmental/Working Conditions

• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts.
• Work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion.
• Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head.
• Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear.
• Required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
• The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
