Production Supervisor (Reinforced Steel/Rebar)
About the role
As the Production Supervisor (Reinforced Steel/Rebar) at Jensen Infrastructure, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role on the plant floor, overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety across the reinforced steel/rebar department. You will oversee a team of 10 to 15 cage fabricators and report to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team by assisting and training cage fabricators in production techniques, equipment operation, safety practices, and company policies.
- Oversee production quality from start to finish, ensuring product quality and schedule compliance.
- Supervise the team, including hiring, training, writing and delivering performance evaluations, and motivating employees.
- Organize workflow by executing daily production goals as set by the Production Manager and ensuring timely communication of tasks to the team.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness by following safety protocols, operating tools safely, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, including prior supervisory experience.
- Experience working with a reinforced steel manufacturing department and quality control programs.
- Experience supervising teams of 10-15 experienced and inexperienced laborers and fabricators.
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach, lead, motivate, develop, train, and hold employees accountable.

- Demonstrated leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).
