Production Supervisor/Metal Plating - 2nd Shift

We're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and creating an environment where employees can succeed. This position is responsible for leading a production team while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. You'll be a visible leader on the production floor—coaching employees, removing obstacles, improving processes, and helping your team achieve success. Our work supports the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing industries, where quality, consistency, and accountability matter every day. Avtec Finishing – New Hope, Minnesota
Shift
2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM-1:00 AM + Overtime as Needed
Pay
Starting at $35.17-$48.63/hour (Based on Qualifications)
Signing Bonus
$1,500 (New hires only. Current employees are not eligible.)
Requirements

- You have dependable attendance and understand that leadership starts with setting the example.
- You're comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment that includes heat, humidity, dust, noise, and chemicals.
- You understand that personal mobile devices are secured during working hours and may only be accessed during scheduled breaks in designated areas due to customer and security requirements.
- You are available to participate in an in-person interview in Minnesota. We do not conduct virtual interviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Experience managing production schedules, quality, and productivity.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Dependable attendance. Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States, as required for certain customer and government-related work.
- Preferred: College degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field. Metal finishing or plating industry experience. CEF/NASF Certification or willingness to obtain. HAZWOPER/Hazardous Waste Training. Forklift Certification. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
