Responsibilities

- Coach employees and develop future leaders
- Drive Lean manufacturing and safety initiatives
- Investigate all accidents, injuries, and implement measures to prevent recurrence
- Interview candidates and assist with new hire training
- Complete performance evaluations annually
- Manage conflict, create consistency within your department, and provide direction to your work centers daily
- Communicate and cooperate with other leadership regarding production, material flow, maintenance, etc.
- Identify, analyze, and act to correct bottlenecks, product defect rates, safety hazards, and maintenance problems
- Counsel, motivate, and instruct departmental personnel in machine operations and concerns through daily interaction
- Proactively present ideas and information concisely and clearly in both oral and written form
- Work effectively with peers and all levels of management to achieve divisional objectives and promote teamwork
- Establish base data for department budgets, forecast, manage assets, and control expenses per budgetary guidelines
- Maintain documentation to support all department activities
- Operate various types of production equipment
- Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing, Inventory, Continuous Improvement, and ERP systems
- Monitor priority dispatch and customer service requirements
- Proactively present ideas and information concisely and clearly in both oral and written form
- Work effectively with peers and all levels of management to achieve divisional objectives and promote teamwork

- Maintain documentation to support all department activities

Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of manufacturing experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay
The salary range is $75K - $90K w/ bonus potential. Starting salary varies based on your experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, hours may vary depending on business needs.
