Responsibilities

  • Drive Lean manufacturing and safety initiatives
  • Investigate all accidents, injuries, and implement measures to prevent recurrence
  • Interview candidates and assist with new hire training
  • Complete performance evaluations annually
  • Manage conflict, create consistency within your department, and provide direction to your work centers daily
  • Communicate and cooperate with other leadership regarding production, material flow, maintenance, etc.
  • Identify, analyze, and act to correct bottlenecks, product defect rates, safety hazards, and maintenance problems
  • Counsel, motivate, and instruct departmental personnel in machine operations and concerns through daily interaction
  • Proactively present ideas and information concisely and clearly in both oral and written form
  • Work effectively with peers and all levels of management to achieve divisional objectives and promote teamwork
  • Establish base data for department budgets, forecast, manage assets, and control expenses per budgetary guidelines
  • Maintain documentation to support all department activities
  • Operate various types of production equipment
  • Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing, Inventory, Continuous Improvement, and ERP systems
  • Monitor priority dispatch and customer service requirements
  • Proactively present ideas and information concisely and clearly in both oral and written form
  • Work effectively with peers and all levels of management to achieve divisional objectives and promote teamwork

  • Maintain documentation to support all department activities

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of manufacturing experience
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay

The salary range is $75K - $90K w/ bonus potential. Starting salary varies based on your experience.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, hours may vary depending on business needs.
