Production Supervisor Corrugator (3rd Shift)

This is a 3rd shift position (Monday-Friday, 11pm - 7am) at Georgia-Pacific’s Corrugated facility in Cleveland, TN. The role is a change leadership opportunity in a facility that has made significant strides in improvement and is positioned for continued investment and transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolving causes.
  • Provide leadership on the operating floor to ensure compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, production, and technical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ensure best practices are followed for minimization of waste at machine centers.
  • Address key issues and concerns, interacting with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production.
  • Identify repairs needed at machine centers and create work requests for completion.
  • Track continuous improvement opportunities where performance issues are apparent and provide leadership/action plans for gap closure.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed.

Requirements

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa sponsorship.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Corrugated industry experience.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment.
  • Experience with the KIWI application.
  • Experience with food-grade (BRC) standards and compliance.

This role is not open to visa sponsorship.

Cleveland, Tennessee, located in the foothills of the southern Appalachians, blends small-city charm with big-city access.
