About the Role
We’re looking for a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead our team of extrusion operators and play a key role in delivering high-quality products while building a strong, safety-first culture. This position operates on 12-hour shifts (7pm to 7am) on a 2/2/3 schedule with alternating weekends off.
Responsibilities
- Lead and energize a team of operators to meet production, quality, and safety goals
- Drive daily operations, keeping production running smoothly and efficiently
- Coach, develop, and support employees, helping them grow and succeed
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that boost performance
- Ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards (HACCP)
- Partner with Engineering and other teams to improve processes and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and high-performing work environment (5S)
Requirements
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience
- 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
- A passion for leading teams and driving results
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually for a successful candidate in the Chicagoland area. The specific hiring rate within the posted range will depend on the candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
