PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
About The Role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals. This role coordinates manpower, workflow, and resources across departments to maintain quality, productivity, and cost control. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in training employees, enforcing standards, and driving continuous improvement within the production environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily production plant operations and workflow execution
- Management of production schedules based on production control priorities
- Scheduling of crews and labor for production, patching, and finishing work
- Determination of production sequencing and prioritization of work based on project needs
- Cross-department coordination including engineering, drafting, and quality monitoring
- Monitoring of production efficiency and addressing delays or defects proactively
- Inventory tracking and support for monthly inventory processes
- Management of purchase orders and material procurement needs
- Training, coaching, and development of new and existing employees
- Enforcement of company policies and procedures, including corrective action when necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years of production or manufacturing supervisory experience
- Experience in a construction or related field
- PCI Level I & II certification preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes and plant operations
- Effective reading of schedules, management of workflow, and coordination of resources
- Proactive problem-solving and quick adaptation skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Basic math skills and ability to manage production-related data
- Effective communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
- Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area
