Production Supervisor

About the role

Our Client is seeking an experienced Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing activities, support team performance, and help ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and consistently. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong supervisory experience and a commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules based on inventory requirements, customer priorities, and available resources.
• Partner with material handling, engineering, and other departments to maintain efficient operations and resolve issues promptly.
• Enforce safety, quality, and operating procedures while reviewing and correcting production transactions.
• Maintain accurate records related to timekeeping, attendance, training, and team performance.
• Lead, coach, and motivate employees while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
• Identify and implement improvements that increase throughput, reduce downtime, improve quality, and optimize labor utilization.
• Monitor performance data and follow improvement initiatives through completion.
• Provide clear direction, make timely decisions, accept responsibility, and lead by example.

Qualifications

• At least six years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and make sound real-time decisions with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor and a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability to learn and effectively use computer systems and production software.
• Proven ability to communicate with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
• English fluency required; Spanish-language skills are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as business needs require.
