Production Supervisor

About the role

Supervise a workforce of 20-30 hourly full-time associates and up to 30 seasonal and temporary associates in a multi-shift operation. Areas of responsibility include production, equipment maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, warehouse, distribution, and/or field operations.

Responsibilities

• Assign work, monitor progress, orient and train associates, interview and recommend hiring of applicants, evaluate associate work performance, counsel associates and/or implement disciplinary action, and establish associate work schedules.
• Execute and enforce government, company, and/or plant laws, procedures, and policies.
• Ensure quality and quantity standards are achieved in a cost-effective and efficient manner, along with the availability of materials and supplies; problem-solve quickly when plans change.
• Communicate, implement, and monitor company-provided safety programs and procedures.
• Foster a team environment and ensure positive associate relations to maintain a union-free workplace.
• Prepare and/or maintain logs, records, and reports such as production, maintenance, and inventory; may purchase supplies, parts, and/or equipment; may assist in developing and monitoring the budget.
• Operate equipment side-by-side with your workforce.
• Assist other supervisors and/or the Plant Manager in directing the overall operation of the plant, performing special projects as needed.
• Contribute to plant productivity, including involvement in goal setting and execution of plant production goals.

Pay

The starting budgeted pay range for this role is $82,500.00 – $97,100.00 per year. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. This role is also eligible for corporate bonus programs.

For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon, or Washington, state-required pay thresholds will be factored into the base salary.
