Production Supervisor
About the role
The Production Supervisor directly manages the shop foremen and is responsible for coordinating and driving daily execution on the shop floor to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality expectations. This role focuses on aligning labor and material resources, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring jobs are ready for execution. The Production Supervisor communicates regularly with other functional areas and upper management to ensure alignment with business and customer needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience managing in a Union environment (a plus).
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Experience using MRP/ERP/Manufacturing Execution business systems.
- General industrial knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with welding and pipefitting processes (a plus).
- Experience leading manufacturing processes for highly engineered, custom equipment.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with structured problem-solving processes (5 Why, 8D, 6 Sigma, etc.).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Valid driver’s license (if travel is required).

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $90,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Individual compensation is determined based on experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
