About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on the automotive production floor and excels at bringing out the best in a team. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in hitting program goals without compromising safety or quality.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily production and lead the team to meet goals.
• Set clear objectives, coach leads and operators, and maintain line capacity.
• Monitor performance metrics, track and resolve downtime, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Ensure equipment remains in top condition and champion a safe work environment.
• Uphold quality standards demanded by automotive customers.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain safety, quality, and production information flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3–6 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts, such as 5S, Gemba, Kanban, and Kaizen.
• Hands-on experience with machines like layup, consolidator, waterjet, CNC router, and/or press strongly preferred.
