Production Supervisor

Ranew's Companies is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Allison, IA. This role provides first-line direction of non-exempt production employees and works directly with front-line staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day activities of production workers to meet manufacturing specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets, and quality standards.
• Monitors output volume and quality; adjusts tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs to ensure specifications are met and resources are used efficiently.
• Informs employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve schedule-affecting issues.
• Recommends changes in materials, equipment, and procedures to establish or modify operational methods and processes.
• Maintains reports, records, and production documentation reflecting schedules, performance, and methods.
• Supervises staff to ensure all production tasks are performed and all machines and equipment are operated safely.
• Trains new workers in operating procedures and standards.
• Operates required machinery/equipment and resolves most downtime issues related to maintenance.

Requirements

• Solid supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse and/or industrial coating environment.
• Ability to work off-shift hours, overtime, and weekends based on business needs.

Pay

$24 - $32 / hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift)
