Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and provide direction to production associates.
• Lead, coach, and support production employees to achieve operational goals.
• Review production reports, documentation, and output records to monitor performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Warehouse, Human Resources, and Quality Assurance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on production processes, job responsibilities, and safety requirements.
• Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and a positive production environment.
• Ensure production targets for quality, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Supervision, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems, SAGE, and Kronos preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and empower production teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work production floor environments with varying temperatures and food-processing conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical activities including standing, walking, reaching, and operating standard office equipment.
