Key Responsibility
- Promote safety-first culture that fosters an injury free workplace.
- Monitor and leads the production.
- Work directly with Production manager to manage daily production numbers.
- Follow and enforces established safety rules and regulations.
- Follow all SOP’s and Work Instructions and communicates improvements and changes as required.
- Respond to emergencies and notify management immediately.
- Makes sure goods are produced efficiently and to the correct quality standard.
- Train/assist production employees on all SOP’s (filling, packing, change over, sanitation etc.).
- Promote, motivate, and provides mentoring and guidance to employees.
- Continuously looks for efficiencies and safety improvement(s).
- Follows and enforces GMP guidelines.
- Works directly with maintenance to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
- Excellent communication skills (leads 1st shift tier meeting, communicates daily production targets).
- Must have SAP production knowledge.
- Must be available for overtime when required.
- Other specific duties as requested by management.

Education and Experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- High school diploma, BS in engineering a plus.
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- SAP prior supervisory experience.
- OSHA Safety certification, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), and Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) a plus.
