Production Supervisor

About the Role

The Production Supervisor is accountable for meeting production requirements, maintaining quality and continuous improvement, ensuring safety, workmanship, methods application, and economical manufacturing costs for machining and inspection of products at the McConnelsville plant. This role aligns with the company's manufacturing and profit objectives.

Responsibilities

• Schedule operations and utilize resources to meet production and quality standards.
• Ensure proper training, development, and accountability for team members.
• Anticipate and adjust to production problems, implementing activities to compensate for interruptions.
• Facilitate problem-solving processes.
• Maintain safe working conditions to prevent employee injuries and properly report incidents.
• Administer company guidelines and rules through awareness, counseling, and discipline, leading by example.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of overtime, attendance, and related data.
• Actively lead and support lean initiatives, including lean training.
• Conduct layered process audits as required.
• Support the full implementation of Lean culture.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Manufacturing experience with a customer-oriented approach.
• Computer proficiency in Windows Office products; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.
• Proven interpersonal skills, including communication, listening, decision-making, and assertiveness.
• Ability to participate in 5S initiatives.
• Willingness to work any shift and extended hours as needed.
