Production Supervisor

About the role

This position supervises manufacturing operations on 2nd or 3rd shift, ensuring efficient daily performance and adherence to production standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily contact with area managers to coordinate operations and report issues such as equipment failures or personnel concerns.
• Oversee and direct subordinates to promote effective practices, quality, and safety compliance.
• Analyze production non-conformities, troubleshoot delays, and address material shortages.
• Plan and arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Recommend solutions to enhance performance across manufacturing processes.
• Ensure adherence to company rules and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Plex.
• Strong blueprint reading, business math, and analytical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and excellent verbal/written communication.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently or in teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, adapt to changing schedules, and analyze complex situations effectively.
