Production Supervisor

About the Role

A Production Supervisor provides front‑line direction, instruction, coordination, organization, and planning for day‑to‑day manufacturing processes. The supervisor ensures the productivity and efficiency of assigned employees, guarantees that workers have approved tools and materials, and meets customer production demands. Responsibilities include setting up and optimizing machine programs, planning work schedules for machines and staff, coordinating preventive maintenance, and addressing material issues with purchasing and planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain an orderly and efficient work area.
• Stay current with production requirements and schedules.
• Ensure timely distribution of work orders and meet required shipping dates by prioritizing workflow.
• Determine work assignments and ensure efficient utilization of the workforce.
• Read blueprints and other technical documents; comprehend simple to moderately complex instructions.
• Train employees and uphold company quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complete and maintain required company records on a daily shift basis.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance (PPM) or address machine issues.
• Work with purchasing and planning to resolve material shortages.

Requirements

• Preferred: at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel to U.S. and Mexico manufacturing locations (approximately 25–40%) for on‑site plant support.
• Availability for night shift work (preferred).
• On‑site work location: Cumberland City, TN.
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

$21.00 – $26.00 per hour
