Responsibilities

  • Assist with training, teaching, and educating employees on company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and control personal practices at the floor level; provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring of hourly staff.
  • Monitor and control PMO, USDA, CDFA, and FDA compliance through established verification processes.
  • Effectively troubleshoot process deviations related to process control or mechanical uptime; work closely with maintenance on scheduled and break-in work.
  • Oversee production, ensuring all employee safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
  • Prioritize safety above all other job duties by maintaining a safety-first approach at all times.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and 4 years of related experience, Associate’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience (or equivalent experience).
  • Able to demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of related experience.
  • Experience with production processes and working closely with other departments.
  • CDFA Pasteurizer license.
  • Experience with SAP.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • This role requires physical exertion and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions or safety hazards.
  • The majority of time is spent walking or standing, with occasional periods of sedentary work.
  • Required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments, in both temperature-controlled and uncontrolled locations.
  • Must frequently interact with people verbally.

Food safety is a companywide responsibility, and each employee must know their role in the manufacture and distribution of safe, wholesome, and high-quality products.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $75,539.00 – $113,309.00 per year. The final compensation offered within this range will depend on factors including the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
