Production Supervisor

About the role
This full-time Production Supervisor position oversees daily operations on the production floor at the GA Telesis Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, Florida. The role ensures all activities comply with safety, quality, and productivity standards while coordinating personnel, optimizing workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production personnel and shift operations to meet production goals
- Organize and coordinate workflow to ensure smooth and efficient processes
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all production equipment and procedures
- Identify and report equipment or process issues promptly
- Train, evaluate, and support team members to promote growth and accountability
- Monitor output to ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and all safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture focused on performance and results
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of four years of related experience/training; or a combination of both
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and safety regulations
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment; must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is a plus
