The ideal candidate should have experience in project management, project planning, employee supervision, and training. Extensive knowledge of the electrical power distribution industry is preferred.
- Schedules and manages assigned projects to production floor locations and personnel.
- Reviews project requirements for design accuracy, purchased goods, assembly and fabrication requirements as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and coordination of projects with plant manager, engineering, and sales.
- Cross departmental jobs for plant productivity and prioritization.
- Complete and facilitate design modifications, redlines and troubleshooting with production personnel and engineers.
- Reviews incoming purchased and produced goods to the assembly bays for accuracy and acceptability.
- Reviews completed projects for conformance with specifications, quality, and closeout requirements prior to shipping coordination.
- Interviewing, onboarding, training and reviews with direct reports.
- Participates and leads in company process improvements.
This is a full-time position. Typical working hours will be Monday – Friday with hours ranging from 5:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Overtime will be available and/or mandatory at management’s discretion.
Minimum 5 years’ experience is required. Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Equipment is preferred. Experience in wiring Low Voltage gear, an ERP system, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products are also required. Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
This position requires the ability to sit, and bend or stand for extended periods of time.
