What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Foster a positive, safety-focused, and collaborative culture that encourages accountability and high performance.
- Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities and productivity.
- Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Production Operations & Planning
- Review production schedules, product specifications, and delivery timelines to effectively plan daily operations.
- Cook up manufacturing activities to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
- Establish production priorities and optimize workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor operational performance and proactively resolve production, maintenance, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and delays.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all products, parts, and systems meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes and operational best practices.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards.
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports on manufacturing performance and output.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts, practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience supervising large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
