Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Frederick, MD. This position oversees daily production operations, ensuring that work centers meet quality, safety, and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor production schedules
• Assign tasks and optimize workflow to meet customer commitments
• Lead and mentor production team members
• Support training and promote continuous improvement in processes and performance
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues
• Manage resources and maintain accurate production records

Qualifications

• Supervisory skills and experience leading production teams, including coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution
• Ability to develop, manage, and adjust production schedules, with experience in production planning and resource allocation
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, provide clear direction, and document production activities
• Production management capabilities, including monitoring output, maintaining quality and safety standards, and driving process improvements
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or related industrial environment is highly beneficial
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar operational methodologies
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle light to moderate materials, and follow all safety and compliance requirements
