About the Role

We are hiring a Production Supervisor for our manufacturing plant in Albany, Oregon. This is a swing shift position working 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday night through Friday night. The Production Supervisor is a thought leader, facilitator, and master problem solver, leading processes and strategies to ensure conformance and production of quality products that meet customer requirements and ATI goals. You will lead teams of 10-15 direct reports with diverse personalities, training, coaching, and motivating the production workforce to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a team environment that fosters a culture of Safety and Quality as foundational priorities.
  • Plan and direct department activities to achieve safe and efficient operations.
  • Apply leadership skills to lead, motivate, and train personnel.
  • Monitor processes and tasks to identify problems and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify, plan, and lead improvement events.
  • Facilitate and support cross-functional problem-solving teams.
  • Interpret and enforce policies while maintaining provisions of the labor agreement.
  • Apply the Task Standardization Process to assigned areas and unplanned incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Write new and correct existing documents to reflect current work practices.
  • Establish systems for production management to sustain production goals with minimal intervention.
  • Monitor and coordinate training to ensure tasks are completed as required by standard work and work instructions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to both internal and external customer requirements and production schedules.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, military, or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience in a union environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts.

Pay

Salary Range: $64,000 to $83,000 annually.

Schedule

Swing shift: 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday night through Friday night.
