Production Supervisor - $65,000-$70,000/year

Roadmap

Directs the operation of shift production, ensuring adherence to standards and promoting a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper instruction and monitoring of production technicians and outsourced labor regarding equipment use.
• Reviews and audits records and procedures to ensure efficient use of time and materials.
• Performs continuous inspections of products to maintain quality standards.
• Maintains equipment in good operating condition.
• Promotes positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication.
• Enforces safety policies and conducts inspections and safety meetings.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover all phases of production.
• Operates facility metal detectors if required, ensuring full training and certification.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years experience in plant production work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.
