Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift
About the role
Production Supervisors direct the efficient packaging of a quality product while meeting production goals and maintaining excellent communication with their team and peers on all shifts. This position reports to the Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce safe work practices
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- Oversee employee performance including coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- Address employee questions, concerns, and conflicts promptly and professionally
- Arrange and manage staff to meet production schedules and demands, ensuring adequate coverage
- Lead and mentor employees in your assigned functional area(s)
- Effectively utilize labor and other resources to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate records, complete daily reports, and review department paperwork
- Perform work tasks on the production floor as needed
- Conduct inspections of equipment and procedures
- Identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and support team members in adopting new practices
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of our products; report any food safety or quality concerns to personnel with authority to initiate action

- Knowledge of various computer applications (MS Word, Excel, ERP) and office equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Qualifications
An Associate Degree in a related field with 5 years of experience or a Bachelor Degree in a related field with 2 years of experience is preferred.
Work Environment
This position is in a state-of-the-art production facility that includes many different types of machines and robotics. It is a clean, climate-controlled environment. The position is fast-paced and requires a safety mindset at all times. Long periods of standing and walking are required daily, and you must be able to sit, climb stairs, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
