Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

About the Role

Oversee and assist Team Leaders and Production employees to ensure organizational commitments regarding safety, quality, and delivery are met. Work closely with other departments to identify, analyze, and eliminate problems within the production environment. Ensure company policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the Production Team to ensure company objectives for Safety, Quality, and Delivery are attained.
• Assign work assignments to Team Leaders and Production Employees.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to promote personal safety and the safety of others.
• Practice strong engagement with direct reports and team members, including accepting diversity of ideas, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems, and showing respect.
• Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to the production manager as needed.
• Provide training to Team Leaders and Production Employees as needed.
• Facilitate and document all training for new hires, including 90-day and annual reviews.
• Manage team HRIS approvals.
• Complete all necessary production paperwork.
• Ensure 5S duties are performed daily on the production floor.
• Understand, support, and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Work with the Management team to develop process improvement opportunities.
• Perform other assignments as directed.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of production team leader experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques required.
• Previous computer experience.
• Availability and willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
