About the role

As a Production Supervisor 3rd Shift at Coilmaster Corporation, you will lead a team to meet daily production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Your responsibilities include staffing, workflow management, problem-solving, and communication on the production floor. You will ensure employees have the necessary resources to succeed, monitor production metrics, and enforce safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to meet daily output, quality, and delivery expectations.
  • Own staffing, workflow, problem-solving, and communication on the floor.
  • Ensure employees have what they need to succeed—direction, materials, equipment, feedback, and support.
  • Assign work, set expectations, and adjust staffing to meet schedule demands.
  • Maintain accurate ERP transactions, production reporting, and daily shift documentation.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Warehouse to remove roadblocks.
  • Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and safe use of tools, machinery, and PPE.
  • Lead shift huddles, communicate priorities, and provide feedback up and down the chain.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Verify product meets specifications; escalate quality or equipment issues immediately.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support production.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role (lead, supervisor, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing a team of 5+ employees in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, standard work, and material flow.
  • Comfortable using computers—email, ERP transactions, basic reporting, MS Office.
  • Experience with ADP/Workday preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and accountability, taking ownership of team performance and results.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, ensuring consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Maintains high situational awareness with a strong focus on safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Coaches and develops team members, supporting skill growth and performance improvement.
  • Applies sound problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effectively manages time and prioritizes tasks to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Collaborates professionally across teams, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.

Working Conditions

  • Indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, material handling equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate noise.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • PPE required as applicable.
