Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on, motivated leader for our Production Supervisor position at IFS Industries, a leading industrial adhesives manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation, quality, and safety functions in the department.
• Coordinate staffing, materials, quality control, and maintenance to meet expected productivity.
• Maintain operations in compliance with SOPs, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
• Provide process guidance and technical troubleshooting support to production personnel to maintain high productivity and quality.
• Operate and understand manufacturing equipment/processes in the production area.
• Work closely with management staff regarding productivity, quality, and employee performance.
• Ensure good housekeeping is adhered to and maintained in all work areas.
• Perform any other duties as they arise.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage, lead, and motivate a team.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA, state, and federal employee regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
• Unrestricted ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, ladders, and balance.
• Unrestricted ability to use hands and arms.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move 55 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and a wide range of temperatures.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level is usually loud.
