Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

About the role

At Clemens Food Group in Tyrone, PA, the Production Supervisor leads the people and processes behind the 2nd‑shift bacon slicing operation. You’ll coach your team, solve problems on the floor, and find better ways to deliver safe, high‑quality product every day. This role is for leaders who develop people, hold high standards, and spot improvement opportunities others miss. Success means building a reliable team, setting clear expectations, addressing problems promptly, developing new skills, meeting production targets, keeping safety and food quality central, and providing structure, accountability, and solution‑focused approaches when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations for the 2nd‑shift bacon slicing team
• Coach, develop, recognize, and hold team members accountable
• Build a stronger, more flexible team through cross‑training and development
• Monitor production performance and respond quickly when safety, quality, labor, or efficiency fall off target
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues, solving root causes, and following improvements through to completion
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Materials, and other teams to keep the operation running effectively
• Maintain strong execution of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, safety, and quality requirements

Requirements

• Supervisory or frontline leadership experience in production, manufacturing, food processing, or a similar operations environment
• A track record of coaching people and improving team performance
• Confidence making decisions in a fast‑moving production environment
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working with operational KPIs, standard work, and compliance requirements
• Professional bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Availability for 2nd shift, typically beginning around 2:30 PM
• Military leadership experience is welcome
• Experience leading teams in environments where safety, accountability, teamwork, and disciplined execution matter can translate well to this role
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates)

Schedule

2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM, with some weekends required.
