About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work at one of our facilities. The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and exercises direct control over a Production department while coordinating with other Production Supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, and plan the activities of a specific production department under the master production schedule.
  • Lead a group of hourly employees (up to 15), including machine operators (e.g., milling, mixing, canning equipment).
  • Communicate procedures to subordinates, ensuring they are understood and implemented.
  • Interpret statistical reports, cycle time specifications, and job orders for workers and assign duties.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, and supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
  • Excellent math skills and proficiency in oral, written, reading, and comprehension for report writing, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (MS Office) and other computer skills.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team while delivering performance metrics.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in Manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Knowledge.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Polish, or sign language.
  • Manufacturing Program Planning and Coordination.
  • UV/TP/OSF (Ink) Manufacturing knowledge.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Inventory Control or Change Management.
