Production Superintendent

About the role

Brief Description Hydro-Gear is hiring a Production Superintendent for our Sullivan, Illinois facility! We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who can develop people, drive performance, and lead production operations. As Production Superintendent, you’ll oversee Production Supervisors and their teams while ensuring we meet our goals for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and their teams
• Oversee day-to-day production operations
• Drive results in safety, quality, productivity, and cost
• Monitor daily production performance and respond quickly to challenges
• Develop supervisors into stronger and more effective leaders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and overall performance
• Partner with other departments to solve problems and meet production goals
• Report directly to the Plant Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, plus 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, OR 6–8 years of experience supervising a team in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage production priorities while driving safety, quality, productivity, and performance
• Technical or mechanical aptitude preferred
