Production Sr. Operator / Sr. Staff

About the role

This position is responsible for the inspection of finished goods to ensure that stamping, packaging, and labeling standards are met. You will follow all safety rules and guidelines, produce products that meet Umicore quality standards and customer specifications, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• 12-hour continental shifts
• Commit to upholding, respecting, and ensuring compliance with the health and safety standards established by the company guidelines
• Actively promote a culture of care by collaborating on preventative measures and continuous improvement actions related to health and safety activities

Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma
• 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of 5S (a plus)
• Computer literacy – preferably with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP and experience in quality environment systems are preferred
• Criminal Record Check required

Pay

The hourly starting rate for this position is $22.29–$27.86 plus a monthly premium of $752.46.
