Production Specialist (Seasonal)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to and exemplify behaviors aligned with company core values

• Follows departmental directions and adheres to all product specifications, food safety programs, GMPs, and HACCP Policies
• Ensures products are packed according to the product matrix and production schedule
• Rotates among duties within the assembly line including the box opener, cookie filler, checker and case packer
• Pick/pack orders, receive/stow products, and ensures inventory accuracy
• Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products for quality and quantity
• Moves products and inventory using an inventory system
• Performs other production duties as assigned

Skills

• Represents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers
• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in the field/related area
• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong attention to detail
• Independent and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Urgent and action-oriented attitude for results
• Able to read and understand various documents, forms, and reports
• Able to communicate effectively and respond to questions from various organizational levels

Physical Demands

• Continuously lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, and squatting
• Sit, stand, and walk throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift
• Good vision and hearing
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime as required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
