Production Specialist - Electrician (Shift)

Job Overview

The Production Specialist - Electrician position will be a part of our operations team based in our Port Everglades Plant in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This position will be required to work a 12-hour rotating shift.

Minimum requirements for job:

• Pwr Plt Mtce Pos Sel Sys Test passed
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Accountabilities:

• Assures appropriate configuration of plant controlroom systems.
• Maintains operational integrity of plant equipment through monitoring and controlling performance and operating characteristics of boiler, turbine, generator and transmission line.
• Completes appropriate documentation for accuracy of accounting and/or equipment history.
• Identifies potential equipment problems before they cause unit failure.
• Issues and/or executes in-plant clearance orders as required.
• Supports other classifications as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Qualified in the electrical maintenance journeyman discipline.
• Previously qualified to hold the operator "A" or turbine operator position, or Production Tech or equivalent.
