Production Specialist

About the role

JELD-WEN is seeking a Production Specialist to join their Manufacturing Division. This position supports the residential and commercial door manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC Routers and conventional machines like Lathes, Mills, Surface Grinders, Drill Sharpeners, and Komo Machine.
• Interpret production tags and run programs on machines.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Exercise focused mental concentration around high-speed cutting and milling equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally team lift heavier items.
• Perform mathematical valuations and read technical drawings.
• Conduct start-of-shift preventative maintenance inspections.
• Prepare and handle materials as needed.
• Occasionally perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC routers and conventional machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good math skills.
• Attention to detail.

Pay

$23.96 to $26.48 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
