Production Specialist-3

Typical Day

• Develops, maintains, and improves assembly processes within area of responsibility.
• Evaluates process specifications periodically to decide if the specifications accurately reflect the process requirements and reviews process steps to reduce inefficiencies.
• Drives production schedules and process-related problems to closure.
• Assists in the compliance of safety regulations, including ISO and business controls.
• Supports team in making process and efficiency improvements.
• Handles first calls in non-maintenance downtime issues and provides assistance to manufacturing support with implementing changes.
• Maintains equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations, and alignments.
• Clears minor machine difficulties and performs maintenance and repairs under supervision of technician, engineer, or supervisor.
• Assists operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations.
• Performs spot checks on product to ensure quality levels are maintained.
• Stays current with manufacturing support on process and equipment changes and upgrades.

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Minimum 1 year machine troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with assembly requirements.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Medical device experience preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Rotating shift from 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.
