Production Solutions Consultant

About the Role

The Production Workflow Specialist is the expert on Konica Minolta’s full line of production print hardware and solutions. This role involves conducting customer workflow assessments and demonstrations, designing and configuring solutions, and developing statements of work. The Specialist drives software solution and professional services revenue while assisting with the sale of production print hardware. This position requires up to 25% travel to New Orleans, LA for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to achieving production print and professional services revenue goals.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer production print strategies.
• Perform pre-sales account opportunity assessments and expand software solutions.
• Demonstrate customer solution value through proof of concepts.
• Analyze customer business requirements and processes.
• Develop customer solution recommendations and proposals.
• Advise the Implementation Team on resourcing and staffing for execution plans.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Contribute to developing new techniques, models, and plans to grow the production print business.
• Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets within the territory.
• Maintain and manage individual sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant production print solution consulting and/or sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within the market/territory (up to 25%).
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods during travel or customer meetings.

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of production hardware, services, and solutions.
• Documented history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
• Proven time management and organizational discipline.
• Technical understanding of end-to-end production printing workflows.
• Ability to create and communicate Konica Minolta’s value propositions and differentiation.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic professional comfortable with prospecting, both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ongoing training and certification to stay current with technology.
